Creating Graphics Of The Game GTA

GTA or Grand Theft Auto is a famous video game created by David Jones and Mike Daily. It was developed by Rockstar North and released Rockstar games. It was a big hit among the gaming fanatics. The games are set in fictional locations resembling US cities with different tasks assigned to each stage. It is one of the highest selling video games in the gaming industry.

It belongs to the genre of open world games, which gives the liberty to the players to play games in a virtual environment with freedom to do anything and anywhere. This is also one of the reasons why it has become so successful. It was first released in 1997 and has really come a long way. This game is widely popular all over the world and it also has voice-overs of some famous personalities like Samuel L. Jackson, Burt Reynolds, Peter Fonda, etc.

The game is available on many platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, and even on Android phones. The first game was released way back in 1997 for Microsoft Windows. The player in each game is a criminal in the gaming world and he does various illegal stuff to rise up the crime ladder. Street fighting, car racing, flying helicopters, assassinating people are some of the things a player is supposed to do. Creating graphics for this amazing game was no mean task. The budget required to do so is mind-boggling. It can make or break any company. It took hundreds of employees and thousands of work hours to create this amazing gaming franchise. The animation studio took a big risk while developing this game. But, once the first version was successful, there was no looking back. They changed from the 2d format to a better and reliable 3d format.

It is a common knowledge, that after the success of the first version of GTA, the roadmap was quite clear. The graphic designing seen in the game is of very superb quality. It is tricky too, as it is an open world game. The landscape was broken down into even sizes chunks. This gives the computer or the system something to load as the player walks forward. These chunks depend on the requirement of the game concerned.  This helps in maintaining the performance of the game. G-Buffer is another technique used in the latest versions of the GTA to make the game more flawless.

If you are also a gaming freak and want to develop a similar game, then you should opt for a graphic designing course in Kolkata.
